Biography of Luna Hendricks
Luna Hendricks is a Belgian figure skater who specializes in singles skating. She was born in Belgium and has represented her country in various international competitions. In 2017, she became the national champion of Belgium and has also won the Belgian Junior Championships twice, in 2014 and 2015.
Early Career
Since the fall of 2013, Luna has been participating in junior stages of the Grand Prix and other junior tournaments. In October 2015, she made her debut in adult competitions at the Cup of Nice in France, where she finished in sixth place. Throughout the pre-Olympic season, Luna competed in various tournaments, including Nebelhorn Trophy in Germany and Finlandia Trophy in Finland, where she finished in seventh place in both events.
Rise to Success
In November, Luna achieved a major milestone in her career by winning the Belgian Championships for the first time. In 2017, she made her debut at the European Championships, where she finished in seventh place, surpassing all her previous sporting achievements. In late March, Luna competed at the World Championships in Helsinki, where she finished in the top twenty and secured a spot for her country at the Olympic Games in South Korea. She also improved her previous records in both the short program and overall performance.
Olympic Season
In the new Olympic season, Luna started off at a junior stage in Salzburg, where she had a slightly disappointing performance and finished in the bottom of the top ten.
