Josef Galliker

Josef Galliker was a Swiss racing driver who participated in the Formula One World Championship.

Early Career

Galliker debuted in Formula 3 in 1974. The following year, he progressed to the European Formula 2 Championship, where he finished fourth twice.

Formula One Debut

In 1976, Galliker made five appearances in Formula One Grand Prix races. However, he failed to score any points and did not qualify twice.

Return to Lower Formulae

After failing to qualify for the 1977 Italian Grand Prix, Galliker competed in Formula 3 from 1978 to 1980. In 1981, he returned to Formula 2 but failed to finish higher than 12th in six races.

Endurance Racing

In 1993, Galliker achieved a notable result by finishing seventh overall in the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race.
