Early Career and Juventus Academy
Marrone's football journey began at the tender age of eight when he joined the prestigious Juventus Academy. He progressed through the ranks of the academy, eventually becoming part of the Primavera team in the 2007/08 season under the guidance of Ciro Ferrara.
First Team Debut
When Ferrara became Juventus manager in 2009, Marrone earned a call-up to the first team. He participated in the preseason and featured in tournaments such as the Peace Cup and TIM Trophy. Marrone made his Serie A debut against Chievo on the 70th minute, replacing Tiago. He also played in the match against Livorno, coming on for Mauro Camoranesi in the 74th minute.
Continued Success
In February 2010, Marrone and the Juventus Primavera won the prestigious Viareggio Cup for the second consecutive year. He served as the team's captain.
Loan Spells
In the summer of 2010, Marrone was loaned to Siena for a year. He returned to Juventus under Antonio Conte from Siena, scoring his first goal against Atalanta in the final round. On January 28, 2016, he was sent out on loan to Hellas Verona for the remainder of the season.
