Lucas Biglia: Argentine Midfielder
Early CareerLucas Biglia, an Argentine professional footballer, started his career at Argentinos Juniors. In 2005, he moved to Independiente and a year later joined Belgian club Anderlecht.
Dominance in Belgium
With Anderlecht, Biglia became a two-time Belgian Champion, Belgian Cup winner, and a three-time Belgian Super Cup winner. As captain of the team, he played a significant role in their success.
International Recognition
In 2011, Biglia made his debut for the Argentina national team. He was part of the squad that finished second at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and was a finalist in the 2015 and 2016 Copa America tournaments.
Club Career Continued
After six seasons with Anderlecht, Biglia moved to Lazio in 2013. In Rome, he won the Coppa Italia in 2013 and scored five goals in 34 appearances during the 2016/17 season.
Return to Milan
In July 2017, Biglia returned to Italy to join AC Milan for 17 million euros. He signed a contract until 2020, with an optional one-year extension.
