American actress Lynn Carlin was born into the heart of Hollywood, the daughter of a Hollywood agent. Before embarking on her acting career, she worked as a secretary.

Early Success and Oscar Nomination

Carlin's breakthrough role came in 1968 with the film "Faces," which earned her an Academy Award nomination. She went on to appear in several notable films, including "...tick... tick... tick..." (1970), "The Getaway" (1971), "Wild Rovers" (1971), "Deadly Sleep" (1974), and "Superstition" (1982).
