Maggie Lindemann: American Singer-Songwriter and Social Media Star

Margaret Elizabeth Lindemann, known professionally as Maggie Lindemann, is an American singer-songwriter and social media personality with a massive following on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Her music genre is primarily dance-electronic pop, and her career has been intertwined with her social media presence.

Early Life and Family

Born on July 21, 1998, in Dallas, Texas, Maggie is the daughter of Barton Duane Lindemann and Susan Denise Denson. She has a brother whose name is not publicly known. Her paternal grandparents were Otto Barton Lindemann and Donna Sue McGee, while her maternal grandparents were Richard Edwin Denson and Bonnie Gay Uhr. Contrary to rumors, she is not related to Till Lindemann of the band Rammstein.

Maggie sang in her church choir as a child and attended Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas. There, she participated in track and field and cheerleading. It is unclear whether she continued her education after moving to California. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her parents, brother, and dog.

Personal Life

Maggie has had a few high-profile relationships. From 2014 to 2015, she dated social media star Carter Reynolds; in 2016, she dated Mikey Barone; and in 2017, she dated YouTuber Brennen Taylor. Since early 2019, Maggie has been in a relationship with singer Brandon Arreaga of the group PRETTYMUCH. The couple confirmed their relationship when Brandon posted an admission on Maggie's Instagram account on her 21st birthday. Fans closely follow the couple's lives and speculate about an impending wedding.

Maggie's social media presence has allowed her to share her personal life with her followers. She often posts photos and videos of her fashion and beauty transformations. Her swimsuit photos consistently receive the most likes. Maggie has commented that she is often mistaken for Megan Fox, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus due to her similar appearances. She is friends with Selena Gomez on social media, and they have participated in challenges and tagged each other in posts.

Music Career

Maggie's rise to fame began at the age of 14 when she posted her first photo on Instagram and gradually gained a global following. She began posting videos of herself singing on the social media app Keek, which caught the attention of the media. Promotional agent Gerald Tennison discovered a video of her singing the national anthem on YouTube. He was impressed and offered Maggie a move to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. Tennison is now Maggie's manager.

Lindemann released her debut single, "Knocking On Your Heart," in September 2015. It reached the top 20 of the iTunes Alternative Chart within 24 hours of its release. She followed with the tracks "Couple of Kids" and "Things." The latter peaked at number 25 on the iTunes Alternative Chart, number five on the Canadian Viral Chart, and within the top 50 of the Spotify Viral 50.

In 2016, Maggie released "Pretty Girl," her first single after signing with 300 Entertainment. The track was a massive success and remains a fan favorite. It reached number 26 on the Spotify Viral 50, number five on the Next Big Sound chart, and number eight on the UK Singles Chart.

Maggie released several remixes of "Pretty Girl" in 2017 and shifted her focus to new projects. By the end of 2018, she had recorded the tracks "Obsessed," "Human," and "Would I."

Maggie Lindemann Today

In March 2019, Maggie opened for Sabrina Carpenter on her Singular Tour across North America.

In April, she released the single "Friends Go." The track reached number seven in Sweden and Belgium, number five in Norway and the UK, and number three in the Netherlands. Maggie embarked on her own Asia tour, but in June 2019, she was arrested during a performance at a mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It turned out that Lindemann did not have the proper documentation required for foreigners performing work in the country. She was released on bail the following day, and the organizers of the event pleaded guilty. Maggie described the incident as "five days of hell" and canceled her remaining concerts in Singapore and Vietnam.

In 2020, Maggie focused on building her social media and YouTube presence, posting new photos and videos.
