Early Life and Artistic Roots

Anna Geislerová was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, on April 17, 1983. Her father, Jan Bočan, was a renowned architect. From a tender age, Anna harbored a passion for film. At the age of five, she became fascinated by the silver screen. Her artistic inclinations extended to ballet, which she began pursuing at the age of eight. By age 12, she had joined the National Theatre's ballet school.

At the age of 15, Anna enrolled in the Prague Conservatory's musical theater program. She soon landed roles in notable productions at the National Theatre, including "Vassa Zheleznovova" and "Broken Pitcher." Two years later, her theatrical horizons expanded as she joined the ensemble of the "Činoherní klub" theater, where she graced the stage in productions such as "Ivanov," "The Beggar's Opera," and "Ladies' Tailor."
