Early Life and CareerMara Zini, a cousin of renowned short track skater Katia Zini, began her skating journey at the tender age of nine. Inspired by her sister's success, she joined the national team in 1998.

Zini's remarkable career was marked by numerous achievements. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, she earned a bronze medal in the team relay alongside her teammates. She also clinched three bronze medals at the 2004 and 2006 World Short Track Speed Skating Championships.
