Early Career in Uzbekistan
Murodbek Bikmaev, an ethnic Tatar, began his professional football career in 2002 for Pakhtakor Tashkent in his hometown of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Over three seasons, he made 39 appearances and scored 14 goals, contributing to the team's three league titles and three cup titles.
Russian Adventure
In 2004, Bikmaev moved to Russia, signing for Krylya Sovetov Samara. However, he failed to establish himself in the team, making only five league appearances in a year and a half. He also briefly played in the UEFA Cup. In 2007, he joined Rubin Kazan but again struggled for playing time.
Return to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan
After leaving Rubin, Bikmaev returned to Naryn, Russia, and joined Spartak Nalchik. He played 48 times and scored three goals over a season and a half before surprisingly terminating his contract in 2010. He then signed for Alania Vladikavkaz, making his debut against Amkar Perm. Despite Alania's relegation to the first division, they reached the Russian Cup final and played in the Europa League, where Bikmaev scored one goal in four appearances. In 2012, he moved to Kazakhstan, signing for Aktobe, where he won the league title in 2013.
Return to Lokomotiv Tashkent
In 2014, Bikmaev returned to Lokomotiv Tashkent. He made his debut as a substitute and scored a goal within minutes.
International Career
Bikmaev made his international debut for Uzbekistan in 2004 in a World Cup qualifier against Taiwan. He scored his first international goal against Palestine five months later. He has scored three goals for the national team in total, including one in a match against Kyrgyzstan in 2011.
