Marc Bartra: A Footballing Journey
Early Career and Barcelona BreakthroughMarc Bartra, a Spanish footballer, was born into a footballing family. His father, Josep Bartra, was a professional footballer. Bartra made his debut for Barcelona's first team on February 14, 2010. He played 30 minutes as a substitute in a La Liga match against Atletico Madrid. Bartra scored his first goal for Barcelona in the final match of the 2010-11 La Liga season, helping the Catalan club win 3-1 against Malaga.
Borussia Dortmund Transfer and Explosion
On June 3, 2016, Bartra joined Borussia Dortmund in a €8 million transfer. However, his time in Germany was marred by a tragic incident. On April 11, 2017, a bomb exploded near the team bus before a match against Monaco. Bartra sustained a fracture in his radial bone, and was taken to the hospital.
Move to Real Betis
Bartra joined Real Betis on January 30, 2018, signing a contract until 2023. The transfer fee was reportedly around €10 million. Bartra has since become a key player for Betis.

Gesture of Kindness
In April 2017, Bartra noticed a photo of a Borussia Dortmund fan named Steffi sitting alone in a crowd of Schalke 04 supporters. He found her on social media and gifted her his jersey.
