Biography of Mark Rowen

Early Life and Education

Mark Rowen was born in the United States and is a renowned investor and billionaire. He is a certified professional, having graduated from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. He was awarded an honorary bachelor's degree in science and art upon completion of his studies. Mark further pursued his education at the same institution and obtained another honorary degree, an MBA.

Formation of Apollo Management

After completing his education, Mark Rowen began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he eventually crossed paths with Leon Black, his future business partner. Together, Mark and Leon founded the company Apollo Management. The formation of Apollo Management took place in 1990, and over the years, the company has invested approximately thirty billion dollars.

Current Endeavors

Presently, Mark Rowen serves on several Boards of Directors in various companies, including Samsonite Corporation, Vail Resorts, Inc., Quality Distribution, Inc., NRT, Inc., National Financial Partners, Inc., Rare Medium, Inc.
