Márcio Nobre

Early Life and Career

Márcio Nobre, a Brazilian footballer, was born in the small town of Novo Horizonte near São Paulo. His football journey began at the age of 10 in his hometown, and at 17, he signed his first professional contract with third-tier club Olímpia. He played for various teams before joining first-division side Gama.

Breakthrough with Palmeiras

Nobre's career took a significant turn when he joined Palmeiras. He became a mainstay in their midfield, playing as a defensive midfielder. In 2006, he attracted interest from Russian club Zenit and French club Olympique. Zenit and Palmeiras initially agreed on a deal, but Olympique made a tempting offer at the last moment. Nobre declined Zenit's offer, but the transfer to Olympique fell through, leaving him to continue at Palmeiras.

Transfer to Ukraine and Further Adventures

In January 2007, Nobre moved to Ukrainian club Metalurh Donetsk on a four-year contract worth €1,500,000. He made his Ukrainian Premier League debut in March 2007. In late 2007, he was loaned to Santos. There was a brief time when it was announced that he had joined Arsenal Kyiv, but this turned out to be an error.

In the summer of 2008, Nobre transferred to Spanish club Real Murcia.

Personal Life

Nobre's family resides in Novo Horizonte. His father passed away early in his life, leaving his mother to raise him and his two older brothers. He is married to Hóberte.
