Early Life and Career

Pepe is a Portuguese-Brazilian football player who currently plays as a defender for Real Madrid. He was born in Maceió, Alagoas, and started playing football at a local sports club. At the age of 18, Pepe moved to Portugal with his teammate Kepler and signed a contract with C.S. Marítimo. Initially playing in the B division, Pepe quickly rose through the ranks and became a key player for the team.

Professional Career

During the 2003-2004 season, Pepe was given permission to train with Sporting Club de Portugal. However, a deal could not be reached, and Pepe returned to Marítimo, helping the team qualify for the UEFA Cup. In the summer of 2004, Pepe signed a contract with F.C. Porto, where he became known as one of the best defenders in the team's history. In 2007, Real Madrid offered Pepe a five-year contract worth 30 million euros.

In 2008, Pepe was involved in a fight during training with Javier Balboa, but he continued to play as if nothing had happened.
