Early Career and International Debut
Ján Ďurica, a Slovakian defender, began his professional career with FK Petržalka 1898.
He also represented the Slovakian national team, making appearances for his country.
Russian Adventure and Loan Spells
In 2006-2007, Ďurica joined Lokomotiv Moscow. However, he had limited playing time, making only 9 league appearances.
He was subsequently loaned to Sporting Clube de Portugal in the summer of 2007.
Return to Moscow and Loan to Sparta Prague
In early 2008, Ďurica returned to Lokomotiv Moscow but failed to break into the first team and played for their reserve side.
In July 2008, he was loaned to Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic for a year without an option to buy.
