Mari-Claude Pietragalla is a French ballerina who has achieved great success in the world of dance. She started her career by graduating from the Paris Opera School and was soon accepted into the company.

During her early career, Pietragalla performed solo roles in ballets choreographed by renowned choreographers such as P. Taylor, K. Carlson, S. Lifar, M. Béjart, and G. Balanchine. Recognition and Repertoire

Four years later, she was awarded the title of "ballerina," and in 1990, she was honored with the title of "étoile," or star, at the Paris Opera Ballet. Pietragalla's repertoire includes both classical ballets of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as contemporary classics. She has collaborated with renowned choreographers such as J. Neumeier, W. Forsythe, H. Limón, R. Petit, and J. Kylián. Pietragalla was also invited as a guest soloist in many dance companies around the world.
