YouTuber With Congenital Face Tumor
Early Life and DiagnosisMarimar Quiroa, a 21-year-old from California, was born with a tumor on her face called a cystic hygroma. As a result, she communicates through sign language in her videos.

Overcoming Adversity
Growing up, Marimar faced challenges due to her condition. "My face and mouth used to be much bigger," she recalls. "I've gone through multiple surgeries to get where I am today." Nevertheless, she persisted, reminding herself of her self-worth by practicing affirmations.

YouTube Journey
Two years ago, Marimar started a YouTube channel, embracing her passion for makeup. "I never expected it to take off," she admits. Now with millions of views, her channel inspires countless women who find solace in her transformations.

Facing Negativity
Despite her success, Marimar has encountered negativity. "I experience bullying both in person and on YouTube," she says. "People call me names and stare." But rather than being intimidated, she confronts her detractors with confidence.

Strong Support System
Marimar's family remains unwavering in their support. "She can do anything she wants," her mother, Maria, declares. "She wants to travel and inspire others. I'm just happy that she's alive and well." Her sister, Ayram, adds, "She inspires me. It takes a toll to live with what she has. It's not easy to get up every day and just keep going."

Accomplishments and Goals
Beyond YouTube, Marimar is pursuing a degree in deaf education and attending beauty school. She is also a certified Zumba instructor. "My condition doesn't hold me back," she asserts. "There's nothing I can't do." Her future plans include marriage, a family, her own makeup line, and traveling the world to empower others.

Message of Acceptance
Marimar's ultimate message is one of self-acceptance. "Beauty is acceptance and not caring what people say," she says. "Your beauty is within you, and it doesn't matter if you look different than anyone else." She encourages everyone to embrace their uniqueness and find fulfillment in their individuality.
