Early Life and Education

Marina Nikolaevna Khokhlova was born on March 3, 1958, in Ryazan, Russia, to Nikolai Ivanovich and Elizaveta Vasilyevna Avilkina. She attended Lyceum No. 14, a specialized school in foreign languages, where she excelled in both linguistic and scientific subjects.

Academic and Research Career

Marina Khokhlova's academic journey continued at the Ryazan Radio Engineering Institute (now Academy), where she joined the Department of Automation and Telemechanics. She pursued research in groups, graphs, and fuzzy sets, earning high accolades for her work.

After graduating, Khokhlova gained practical experience at the defense enterprise TsKB "Almaz" in Moscow. She subsequently worked as a research scientist at the Moscow Radio Engineering Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences, where she processed experimental data in nuclear physics.

Business Leadership

In 1992, Khokhlova co-founded JSC "Company "Cefei"," where she served as Financial Director. Combining her expertise in finance, management science, and systems design, she developed innovative methods for formalizing highly complex processes.

Khokhlova's original contributions to object-oriented programming and unified information space technologies have no current global parallels. Her groundbreaking software package, "Etalon," allows for comprehensive resource management in large and medium-sized enterprises.

International Recognition

"Cefei" has been recognized for its exceptional products and services. The company's software has earned international awards, including the "Golden Business" diploma, the "Dator" certificate, and the Russian Ministry of Science and Technology's Honorable Diploma. Khokhlova herself has received the Honorable Diploma of the Russian Ministry of Science and Technology for her significant contributions to Russian information technology.

Cultural and Social Contributions

Marina Khokhlova believes that entrepreneurs have a responsibility to support their communities and culture. "Cefei" actively sponsors agricultural businesses. Khokhlova also serves as Vice-President of the Innokenty Smoktunovsky Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Russian theater. She is also an Honorary Master of the International Academy of Theater.
