Early Life

Mark-Paul Gosselaar was born on March 1, 1974, in Panorama City, California, USA. His father was Dutch and his mother was Indonesian. He grew up with three brothers and a sister. From a young age, Mark-Paul started appearing in public. At just five years old, he was already working as a model. As he grew older, Gosselaar began dreaming of an acting career, but wanted to receive a proper education first.

Career

Mark-Paul Gosselaar made his television debut in the series "Saved by the Bell", which aired from 1988 to 1993. In 1998, he made his film debut in "Dead Man on Campus". Although the film was not a success, his involvement in the project was significant for the actor.

In the same year, Gosselaar starred in the television drama series "Hyperion Bay", and three years later, he appeared in the film "The Princess and the Marine". From 2001 to 2005, he was part of the cast of the series "NYPD Blue", which focused on the lives of police officers and their work.

More recently, Mark-Paul Gosselaar landed a role in the television project "Raising the Bar", produced by renowned filmmaker Steven Bochco. The series premiered on September 1, 2008.

Personal Life
