Early Career

Reynolds caught the attention of scouts from Motherwell, his hometown club, and began training with them in 2003. He also represented the club in youth teams and made his debut for the senior team on May 3, 2006, in a match against Livingston. Reynolds quickly established himself as a key player in the team's defense, earning him a three-year contract with Motherwell.

Success at Motherwell

By the start of his second season at Motherwell, Reynolds had become a regular in the team, featuring in almost every match. He scored his first goal against Kilmarnock in a resounding 5-0 victory and followed it up with another goal against Dundee United in December 2006. Reynolds' performances attracted interest from other clubs, including Rangers, who were willing to pay £750,000 for his services. However, Motherwell's manager rejected the offer.

Despite the interest from various clubs, Reynolds remained with Motherwell until 2010. He was then transferred to Sheffield Wednesday, where he struggled for game time, making only 10 appearances over two seasons.
