Biography of Marshall Allman

Marshall Allman is an American actor known for his roles in the film "Hostage" and the TV series "Prison Break". He was born in Austin, Texas to Aidanelle Allman (née Brown) and James Martin Allman Jr. In school, Marshall was not well-behaved and often found himself in the principal's office. Teachers encouraged him to pursue a career in show business. At the age of 17, Marshall and his friends staged a play called "History of the Devil" at the Fear Theatre Company in Austin.

Marshall was also the captain of his high school football team, leading them to victory in the Texas state championship. Initially, he considered a career in professional football, but later contemplated attending an art school. By the time he graduated from high school in 2002, Marshall had to choose between an art school in New York City and an acting school in Los Angeles.

After completing his acting courses, Marshall quickly landed roles in films such as "Sweet Pea", "Shallow Ground", and "Little Black Book", as well as TV shows like "The Practice" and "Without a Trace". In 2005, he starred in the high-profile film "Hostage" directed by Florent Emilio Siri, alongside Bruce Willis and Ben Foster. It was during this time that Marshall also worked with Robert Knepper, his future co-star on the TV series "Prison Break". In the series, Marshall portrayed LJ Burrows. While most of his roles were supporting, he gained a leading role in the romantic comedy "Dishdogz" directed by Mikey Hilb, playing a professional skateboarder.

Currently, Marshall Allman actively supports programs that promote artistic and musical education for young people. He is passionate about painting, playing the guitar and piano, as well as writing poetry and screenplays.
