Martha Elba Higareda Cervantes, known as "Martha Higareda," was born in Villahermosa, Mexico, on August 24, 1983, to parents José Luis Higareda, a renowned artist, and Martha Cervantes, an actress. Growing up in a creative environment, it was no surprise that Martha and her younger sister, Miriam, would pursue acting careers.

Early Career and Breakthrough

At the age of 14, Higareda moved to Mexico City to pursue her dreams. She excelled both academically and artistically, enrolling in communication studies at Monterrey Institute of Technology and attending acting classes at a theatre school. In 1999, she made her television debut as a host on Disney Channel.
