Early Life and Collaborations with Aerosmith
Born in 1962, Frederiksen rose to prominence in the mid-1990s for his work with Aerosmith. He co-wrote four tracks on their 1997 album "Nine Lives" and later collaborated on ten tracks for their 2001 album "Just Push Play." Additionally, he co-produced "Just Push Play" and co-wrote two songs for the 2002 compilation album "O, Yeah! Ultimate Aerosmith Hits."

Beyond his contributions to Aerosmith, Frederiksen has penned hits for a wide range of artists. He wrote the acclaimed soundtrack for the 2000 film "Almost Famous," including the song "X" by Def Leppard. He also co-wrote "I Should Have Told You" for Fuel in 2007, "Sorry" for Buckcherry, and all 13 tracks for Mötley Crüe's 2008 album "Saints of Los Angeles."
