Biography of Martin Hiden

Martin Hiden is an Austrian football player who has played as a defender for Vienna's "Rapid" and the Austrian national team. He started his career in 1992 at the football schools of the clubs "St. Stefan ob Stainz" and "Sturm". In 1994, he joined Salzburg's "Austria" and became the Austrian champion once and won the Austrian Super Cup twice. In 1996, he returned to "Sturm" and together with the team, won the Austrian Cup in 1997. In July of the same year, he moved to Vienna's "Rapid" and in January 1998, he transferred to English club "Leeds United". On February 28, he made his debut for the club in a match against "Southampton". In 2000, he was bought by Vienna's "Austria" for £500,000 and became the Austrian champion for the second time and won the Austrian Cup in 2003.
