Early Career and International SuccessMijo Udovčić was a Croatian chess master who began his career in the 1960s. Representing Yugoslavia at the 1960 Chess Olympiad, he made his mark as a formidable player. In 1964, he placed 4th-5th in the Kecskemét Zonal Tournament.
