Early Life and Education

Zachary Walton was born in Hampton, New Jersey. He pursued a Bachelor's degree in Musical Theater and Directing at the Boston Conservatory. After graduating, he returned to New York City and studied under Wynn Handman, Tony Spiridakis, Stephan Jones, and acting coaches Anthony Abeson, Seth Barrish, and Bob Krakower.

Stage Career

Walton made his New York City off-Broadway debut as Berger in the 30th-anniversary production of "Hair" in 1997. His performance led to roles in off-Broadway premieres such as "The Custom Made Man," "The Sweepers," "We All Fall Down," "Rush Dream," "The Gorilla Man," and "The Framer."

He has also starred in regional and New York revivals of "Beirut," "Grease," "Violet," "Life of the Boy," "A Few Good Men," "Proposals," "Italian American Reconciliation," and "Human Error." Walton appeared in the Broadway production of "Under My Skin" by Robert Sternin and Prudence Fraser.

Film and Television Roles

Walton's early television roles were in soap operas such as "Guiding Light," "As the World Turns," and "All My Children." He played Elijah Clarke on "One Life to Live" for eighteen months starting in 2009.

He has made guest appearances in "Rescue Me," "Royal Pains," "Cashmere Mafia," and "The Bronx is Burning." Walton also starred in several episodes of "Hall of Fame."

Walton has appeared in over two dozen films, including "Burn After Reading," "The Giant," and "Armless."

Commercial and Voice Work

Walton has been featured in several advertising campaigns, including those for Advil Cold and Sinus, Rooms to Go, Lowe's, Barclays, Speed Stick, Cablevision, Castrol, and Old Navy.

He has provided voiceovers for over 100 television and radio commercials, promos, and narrations for channels such as The Biography Channel, A&E Network, Bravo, Travel Channel, Independent Film Channel, and Oxygen. Walton has also narrated audio books, including "Spider-Man 2," "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas," and "Second Chance."
