Early Life and Career

Matvei Bobal Junior is a Ukrainian footballer who plays as a striker. His father, Matvei Bobal Senior, was also a footballer who played for Dynamo Kyiv, Karpaty Lviv, and the Soviet Union youth team. Matvei Junior began his youth career at Zakarpattia SDYUSHOR and the Lviv Republican Sports College.

Club Career

Bobal soon joined CSKA Kyiv, then coached by Mykhailo Fomenko. However, he failed to establish himself at the club. In 2003, he joined Tavriya on the recommendation of Ukrainian coach Anatoly Zayaev, where he made two appearances against Kryvbas and Volyn. He also had a brief stint with Krymteplytsia.

IgroService and Goal Scoring Exploits

Bobal moved to IgroService in 2006. He became the top scorer in the Ukrainian First League in the 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons, scoring 16 and 24 goals respectively.

Return to Tavriya

In the winter of 2009, Bobal returned to Tavriya, signing a two-year contract. He has since continued to score goals for the club.

International Career

Bobal has represented Ukraine at the youth level, making a total of 15 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
