(Art of Verifying the Dates of Historical Events). This comprehensive chronological compendium served as a foundational work for subsequent historians.

Collaboration and Legacy

Dangeau's work was continued by his collaborators, Charles-Fran?ois Dantine and Nicolas-Sylvestre Bergier. The final revision of this monumental work was completed by Fran?ois Cl?ment between 1770 and 1787. The "Art de v?rifier les dates" remained an authoritative reference for historians and scholars for centuries.

Biblical Scholarship

In addition to his historical contributions, Dangeau played a significant role in biblical scholarship.
