Early Years

Born in Łódź, Russian Empire, the French artist embarked on a journey of education and artistic exploration. He attended a Russian gymnasium before pursuing natural sciences at Warsaw University.

Artistic Training and Influences

In 1923, he enrolled at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where his artistic sensibilities began to take shape. He then travelled to Berlin, where he encountered pivotal figures in the art world, including Zbigniew Rybak, Adam Minkiewicz, and Kazimierz Terechkovicz.

Life and Career in Paris

From 1924 onwards, Paris became the artist's home. There, he forged close friendships with renowned artists such as Ivan Puni, Piotr Kremlin, and Mikhail Larionov. Immersed in the vibrant art scene of Paris, he pursued his artistic vision, leaving a lasting mark on the world of art.
