Max Charles, born on August 18, 2003, in Nashville, Tennessee, is an American actor. He gained recognition for his role as Little Peter Parker in the films "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".
Early Career
Max Charles first tried his acting skills in the third episode of the HBO series "True Blood" in 2010. He later received invitations to play guest roles in other TV projects, including "Raising Hope", "Community", "Jessie", and "Hot in Cleveland". Charles portrayed Gordon Marks in Robert Harmon's drama film "November Christmas" and Joseph in Robert Vince's family Disney film "Spooky Buddies". In 2012, he appeared in the comedy "The Three Stooges" as an orphan named Picer, who encounters the three main characters. That same year, Charles was cast as Dylan in the drama "Least Among Saints" and Joven Owen in the film "White Space".
Breakthrough Roles
Max Charles played the role of young Peter Parker in the blockbuster film "The Amazing Spider-Man", where the adult version of the character was portrayed by Andrew Garfield. He also participated in the voice acting for one of the main characters in the animated film "Mr. Peabody & Sherman", alongside Ty Burrell. The movie was directed by Rob Minkoff, known for his work on "The Lion King".
