Early Career at GimnasiaMaximiliano Meza, an Argentinian footballer, began his career at the Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata club. On December 10, 2012, he made his professional debut in the Primera B match against Deportivo Merlo. Meza played a pivotal role in helping Gimnasia gain promotion to the top-flight league at the end of the season.
Debut in the Argentine Primera
On August 4, 2013, Meza marked his debut in the Argentine Primera during a match against River Plate. He scored his first goal for Gimnasia in the encounter against Vélez Sarsfield on October 8.
Transfer to Independiente
In the summer of 2016, Meza transferred to Independiente for a fee of €2.7 million. He made his debut for the club on September 25 in a match against Tigre. Meza scored his first goal for Independiente on December 11 against Colón.
