Predrag Rajković: A Serbian Goalkeeping Prodigy
Predrag Rajković is a Serbian professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Premier League.
Early Career
Rajković began his footballing journey in his hometown of Negotin with the local club Hajduk. He then joined the youth academy of Jagodina, making his first-team debut on March 9, 2013, against Partizan Belgrade. In his first season with Jagodina, he won the Serbian Cup as a backup goalkeeper.
Transfer to Crvena Zvezda
In August 2013, Rajković signed a contract with the Serbian giants Crvena Zvezda. He immediately became a regular starter for the club, leading them to the Serbian SuperLiga title in his debut season.
International Career
Rajković has represented Serbia at various youth levels. He was the starting goalkeeper for the under-19 team at the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Rajković played a pivotal role in Serbia's title triumph, saving two penalties in the semi-final shootout against Portugal.
At the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Rajković was the cornerstone of Serbia's winning campaign. He kept clean sheets in crucial knockout matches, including the final against Brazil in extra time.
Senior International Debut
Rajković made his senior debut for Serbia in a friendly against Colombia on August 14, 2013. His impressive performances at youth level earned him a place in the squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
