Biography of Maxim Borodin
Maxim Borodin is a Ukrainian poet who was born and raised in Dnipro, Ukraine. He graduated from the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and worked as a civil engineer. In 2002, he obtained his candidate of technical sciences degree.
Writing Career
Maxim Borodin is known for his poetry and short prose, which have been published in various literary magazines and journals. Some of the publications that have featured his work include "Arion," "Vozdukh," "Deti Ra," "©oyuz Pisateley," "Chernovik," "Novy Mir," "Volga," "NASH," "Artikl," "Futurum ART," "Novaya Yunost," "Kreshchatik," the online journal TextOnly, and the anthologies "Ilya," "Babylon," "Zhurnal POetov," and "Devyatyy Sfinks." His poems have also been featured on websites such as "Setevaya Slovesnost" and "Novaya Literaturnaya Karta Rossii."
Maxim Borodin has published several poetry collections, including "Prawila blizhnego boy" (2005), "Nikakoy anesteziyi" (2007), "Paris" (2007), and "Svobodny stikh kak oshibocnaya doktrina zapadnoy demokratii" (2010). His works have been translated into Ukrainian by Sergei Zhadan, as well as into Italian and Bulgarian.

Maxim Borodin has participated in various literary festivals, including the Biennale of Poets in Moscow (2005), the Kiev Lavra Festival (2006, 2007), and the Kharkiv Barricade Festival (2007). In 2007, he was awarded the literary prize "International Odmetina named after David Burliuk" for his contributions to literature.
