Early Life and Education

Maksym Dmytrovych Melnychuk was born in Kyiv on April 6, 1973. He graduated from high school in 1989 and went on to earn a degree in biology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1994.

Academic Career

- 1997: Earned a Candidate's degree in biology (virology)

- 1999: Graduated from the National Agrarian University of Ukraine with a master's degree in plant protection

- 2001-2004: Served as an associate professor

- 2003-2004: Dean of the Faculty of Plant Protection and Biotechnology at the National Agrarian University

- 2006: Earned a Doctor of Science degree from the D.K. Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology
