Early Life and Education
Maxim Nikulin was born on November 15, 1956, in Moscow, to the renowned Soviet clown Yuri Nikulin. He attended Moscow State University's Faculty of Journalism in 1972, where he developed a passion for storytelling and communication.
Journalism Career
In 1974, Nikulin embarked on a journalistic career as a correspondent for the newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets." He later joined the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of the USSR, holding various positions such as junior editor, editor, special correspondent, and commentator for the "Mayak" radio station.
Leadership in the Moscow Circus
In 1994, Nikulin became the Director and Managing Director of the Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. In 1997, he was appointed as General Director and Artistic Director, carrying the legacy of his father to new heights.
"My Circus" Television Program
Nikulin conceived and hosted the television program "My Circus," which aired on Russian television. In this show, he shared his insights, love for the circus, and a vision of making it accessible and familiar to every viewer.
