Biography of Prince Amedeo of Belgium
Prince Amedeo Marie Joseph Carl Pierre Philippe Paola Marcus d'Aviano, born on February 21, 1986, is a Belgian prince and Archduke of Austria-Este. He is the heir of the House of Austria-Este and currently holds the seventh position in the line of succession to the Belgian throne. Amedeo was born in Woluwe-St-Lambert, Belgium, as the eldest child of Archduke Lorenz of Austria-Este and Princess Astrid of Belgium. He has a younger brother, Joachim, and three younger sisters - Maria Laura, Luisa Maria, and Laetitia Maria. Amedeo comes from a noble and royal lineage, including aristocratic families from Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, Portugal, Germany, and Spain.

Education and Career
Prince Amedeo studied in Brussels at the prestigious Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege, a school popular among Belgian aristocracy. He completed his education in Kent, England. After finishing his British education, Amedeo spent a year at the Royal Military Academy in Belgium. He later served in the Belgian armed forces and is currently an officer in the reserves. In September 2005, Prince Amedeo enrolled at the London School of Economics and graduated in 2008. He took a break but returned to work in September 2009 at the New York branch of the international company Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

Titles and Honors
Like many other European aristocrats, Prince Amedeo holds several honorary titles. By birthright, he became the Archduke of Austria-Este and Hereditary Prince of Hungary on February 2, 1986. On December 2, Amedeo was granted the title of Prince of Belgium according to the Belgian royal decree. This honor was also bestowed upon his siblings, Astrid of Belgium and Lorenz of Austria-Este. Furthermore, on February 7, 1996, Prince Amedeo became the Hereditary Duke of Modena.
