Megan Boone is an American television and film actress who gained recognition for her role as FBI agent Elizabeth Keen in the NBC series "The Blacklist". She has also had notable roles in the series "Law & Order: Los Angeles" and the films "My Bloody Valentine" (2009) and "Step Up Revolution" (2012).

Early Life and Family
Megan was born on April 29, 1983, in Petoskey, a small resort town in Michigan. However, her parents later decided to move to Florida to be closer to Megan's grandparents and settled in The Villages, located in Sumter County. Her grandfather, H. Gary Morse, was a billionaire who earned his fortune in real estate and is a well-known Florida developer. Megan's mother, Jennifer Parr, works as a sales director.
Education and Training
Megan began studying acting while still a high school student at Bellevue High School, which she graduated from in 2001. She then attended the theater school at the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2005. Additionally, Megan honed her craft under the guidance of actress Jane Alexander and director Edwin Sherin at the Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. She also participated in seminars led by playwright Mark Medoff.
Career
Megan's first film role was in the eight-minute short film "Elijah" released in 2001. She then had a hiatus and made a brief appearance in the Western film "The Mustachioed Bandit Meets His End" in 2007. The following year, Megan made her television debut in the shows "The Cleaner" and "Cold Case". However, her breakthrough in mainstream cinema came with her role in the horror film "My Bloody Valentine" in 2009.
In 2010, Megan had a small role in the romantic comedy sequel "Sex and the City 2". From 2010 to 2011, she appeared in seven episodes of the series "Law & Order: Los Angeles" as Deputy District Attorney Lauren Stanton. She also received the Gen Art Film Festival Award for Best Actress for her role in the independent drama "Leave Me Like You Found Me" and joined the cast of the police drama "Blue Bloods" in 2013.
