She was born on November 5, 1970, in Izmir, Turkey, in a family of a bank employee. Meltem has an older brother who passed away, and the cause of his death is known only to a limited circle of people close to the actress. She also has a younger sister named Heather.
After completing her special school in Izmir, Meltem Jumbul moved to Istanbul at the age of thirteen to continue her education. She successfully completed her primary education and went on to study acting at Mimar Sinan University. After graduating from the university, Meltem traveled to England, where she worked in the Shakespeare department to further refine her acting skills.
Career
Meltem Jumbul's career as a television presenter began in the years 93-94. She hosted a reality show called "Yukari Asagi" and participated in the popular show "Nereden Baslasak." Alongside her television work, she appeared in films in supporting roles. The movies "Bay E" and "Bocek" are considered her debut in the film industry. In 1996, Meltem starred in the major project "Fake World," which marked a significant milestone in her career.

Personal Life
Meltem Jumbul's personal life has not been smooth. She got married in 2003 but ended the marriage after just one year. The disappointment from her failed marriage overshadowed her participation in the renowned music project Eurovision. In 2004, Meltem Jumbul and Korhan Abay, one of the organizers of the famous project, co-hosted the music competition in Turkey. This contest made history in Eurovision as the longest-running hosting marathon, lasting three days. One can only imagine the physical and mental exertion the hosts endured, but the moral satisfaction they gained was immeasurable.
Meltem's popularity grew even further after her role in the film "Soul Wound," which starred renowned Turkish actors Şener Şen and Timuçin Esen. The film achieved tremendous success both in Turkey and in many other countries. In 2005, Meltem Jumbul traveled to Los Angeles, where she attended acting classes to further improve her skills.
