Biography of Mich Dulce

Mich Dulce is a Filipino fashion designer, actress, milliner, corsetiere, and vocalist of the bands 'Death By Tampon' and 'Us-2 Evil-0'. She is best known for her signature hats, corsets, and bridal gowns.

Education and Early Career

Michela first studied at the Poveda Learning Center in Quezon City, Philippines, before attending Ateneo de Manila University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Communication Arts. After college, she had the opportunity to work with renowned designers such as Jessica Ogden, Marjan Pejoski, and Cecile Zamora.

Following her college education, Michela continued to study design at the London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She then returned to the Philippines to further her design education at the University of the Philippines and the Philippine International School of Fashion.

Move to the United States and Career Success

In 2004, Mich Dulce relocated to the United States and pursued a career in retail planning, studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. In 2005, she co-founded the store 'Store for All Seasons' with Cecile Zamora.

A year later, Michela became one of the 14 participants in the ABS-CBN show 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition'. Unfortunately, she had to leave the show due to asthma, which developed after a series of panic attacks. She spent some time at the Philippine Heart Center before being released on the condition that she would not return to such a physically and mentally demanding show.

Achievements and Recognition

In 2002, Mich reached the finals of a young designers competition in Paris and shared the first place in the young designers competition organized by 'MEGA' Company.

In February 2010, Michela won the prestigious International Young Creative Entrepreneur (IYCE) award, which was presented during London Fashion Week.
