Mike Conley: Professional Basketball Star
Mike Conley is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Early Life and College Career
Conley was born into a family of athletes. His father, Mike Conley Sr., is an Olympic and World Champion in triple jump. His uncle, Steve Conley, played American football for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Conley attended Ohio State University, where he played for the Buckeyes alongside future NBA players Greg Oden and Daequan Cook.
NBA Draft and Memphis Grizzlies
Conley was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. He spent 12 seasons with the Grizzlies, establishing himself as a talented point guard.
Utah Jazz
In the summer of 2019, Conley was traded to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Grayson Allen, Kyle Korver, Jae Crowder, the 23rd overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and a 2020 first-round draft pick.
