Early Life and Career

Michael Austin Cera was born in 1988 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. His father is Italian and his mother is Canadian. He grew up with two sisters, Jordan and Molly. At the age of four, Cera decided to become an actor, and he began his acting career at the age of ten. He started with appearances in TV series such as "La Femme Nikita," "Noddy," and "Real Kids, Real Adventures." He then went on to star in several television shows and movies, including the biographical documentary "Steal This Movie" in 2000 and the film "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" in 2002.

Rise to Fame

Cera gained recognition for his role in the cult comedy series "Arrested Development," which ran for three seasons. He won the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2005 and 2006 for his work on the show.
