Michael Jace is an American actor best known for his roles in films such as 'State of Play', 'Planet of Apes', and 'Forrest Gump', as well as the TV series 'The Shield'. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey.

Early Career

In 1992, Jace landed a role in the TV series 'Law and Order'. He also had a small role in 'L.A. Law' in 1994. That same year, he appeared in episodes of 'The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.', 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine', and 'Chicago Hope'. He also had minor roles in the films 'Clear and Present Danger' and 'Forrest Gump'.

In 1995, Jace starred in the films 'Tyson' and 'Strange Days'. The following year, he appeared in 'The Great White Hype', 'The Fan', and TV shows such as 'Nash Bridges' and 'Dangerous Minds'. He also had a role in the video game 'Maximum Surge'.

The authorities found April's body and a gun believed to belong to Jace at the scene.

Jace confessed to the crime and is currently awaiting trial. The motive behind the murder remains unclear, although investigators suspect financial or family issues may have played a role. Whether it was an intentional murder or a tragic accident is yet to be determined.
