Early Life and EducationMikhailo Kukuyuk was born in Zhytomyr, Ukraine, into a family of renowned Ukrainian artists. Following the tragic loss of his father in 1982, he was raised by his mother and older brother. From 1991 to 1995, Kukuyuk pursued his passion for the performing arts at the Kyiv Ivan Karpenko-Karyi Institute of Theatrical Arts.
Theatrical Career
Upon graduating, Kukuyuk joined the Kyiv Young Spectators Theater. In 2003, he became a member of the Kyiv Academic Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank of the Dnipro. Throughout his career, he has showcased his versatility on stage, captivating audiences with his captivating performances.
Musical Journey
In 2002, Kukuyuk founded a band that infuses traditional Ukrainian music with a dash of humor and punk sensibilities. After an unexpected disbandment, he reestablished the group under the name "KukTaBanda." The band continues to deliver energetic performances, blending music, comedy, and national pride.

In 2008, Kukuyuk took on the role of host for the late-night music show "Vidjei" on Ukrainian television channel TET. His engaging personality and deep knowledge of the music industry made him a beloved host, connecting with viewers around the country.
