Michael Murillo

Micheal Murillo is a Panamanian professional footballer who plays as a defender for New York Red Bulls in the Major League Soccer (MLS). Born and raised in Panama City, Murillo began his career with the local club San Francisco. He made his professional debut in September 2014 and quickly became a regular starter for the team. Murillo's performances earned him a loan move to MLS side New York Red Bulls in 2017. He made his MLS debut in May 2017 and quickly established himself as a key member of the Red Bulls' defense.
International Career
Murillo has represented Panama at various youth levels. He was part of the Panama national under-20 team that won the silver medal at the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He also participated in the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2015 Pan American Games.
Murillo made his senior debut for Panama in March 2016. He was selected for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup and played in four matches, including a memorable performance against Martinique where he scored a goal. Murillo has since become a mainstay in Panama's national team.
