Early LifeMiko John Hughes, an American actor, was born on February 22, 1986. He was born in Apple Valley, California to Mary Phelps and John Hughes, a special effects artist. Miko has three siblings: Mike, Mitch, and Molly.

Acting Career
Miko's acting career began at the age of 22 months when he appeared in a social advertisement. Five months later, he landed his first role in a feature film. Since then, Miko became one of the busiest child actors in Hollywood. He is best known for his roles as a young boy in the film "Pet Sematary" (1989), an autistic child in "Mercury Rising" (1998) alongside Bruce Willis, and as Dylan, the son of the main character in "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" (1994).

Throughout his career, Miko has appeared in numerous films including "Spawn" (1997), "Zeus and Roxanne" (1997), "Apollo 13" (1995), "Kindergarten Cop" (1990), "Mercury Rising" (1998), and "Pet Sematary" (1989). He has also acted in several TV movies and series, such as "Baywatch 90210" (1989), "Touched by an Angel" (1994), and "The Nanny" (1993). Miko won an Emmy Award for voicing the character of Tommy in the animated series "Life with Louie" (1995). Additionally, he provided the voices for the twins Sly and Whit in the film "Baby Geniuses" (1999).

Other Ventures
Apart from acting, Miko released two albums in 1995 when he was only 9 years old. He wrote and performed all the songs on the albums, which were released on his own record label, "Little Chief, Inc." In recent years, Miko has appeared in films such as "Fly Boy" (1999), "Escape to Grizzly Mountain" (2000), "Magic Rock" (2001), "Clockstoppers" (2002), "Surf School" (2006), "Thou Shalt Not" (2007), "Tropic Thunder" (2008), and "City of Shoulders and Noses" (2009), where he portrayed a young and charismatic Italian sculptor.

Personal Life
Outside of his career, Miko enjoys playing video games and is passionate about beekeeping. He manages his own bee farm, which houses around 30,000 bees. Additionally, Miko works as a DJ under the pseudonym D.J. Cubed.
