Early Life and Career
Milad Mohammad Ali Mohammadi is an Iranian footballer who currently plays as a defender for Akhmat Grozny and the Iranian national team. Born on April 11, 1993, in Dorud, Iran, Milad is the twin brother of fellow footballer Mehrdad Mohammad Ali Mohammadi.
The Mohammadi brothers honed their skills in the youth academies of Ghahar Zagros and Niroye Zamini before Milad signed a five-year contract with Rah Ahan in 2014.
Transfer to Russia
In February 2016, Milad's career took a significant turn when he joined Russian club Terek Grozny (now Akhmat Grozny) for a fee of €300,000. He made his Premier League debut on April 2, 2016, as a substitute against Anzhi Makhachkala.
Akhmat Grozny Years
During the 2016/17 season, Milad impressed in the left-back position, registering four assists. His performances earned him a place in the Akhmat squad that achieved a respectable 5th place finish in the league.
International Career
Milad represented Iran at the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship, scoring a goal in the group stage. He made his debut for the senior national team on June 11, 2015, in a friendly match against Uzbekistan.
