Milana Alexandrovna Vayntrub was born on March 8, 1987, in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, USSR. She is an American actress and comedian known for her role as Lily Adams in the television commercials for AT&T. Vayntrub has appeared in numerous short films and gained fame alongside Stevie Nelson in the web series "Let's Talk About Something More Interesting". She is also recognized for her role as Tina Shukshin in the series "Other Space".

Early Life and Career
Milana Vayntrub moved to West Hollywood at the age of three with her parents, who feared religious persecution in Uzbekistan. At the age of five, she began appearing in commercials for Mattel, the maker of Barbie dolls, partly due to her family's financial struggles. Reflecting on her early career, Vayntrub stated, "I appeared in a commercial for a telephone company when I was five. But my first significant achievement came at the age of eight when I appeared in the first season of 'ER'. I played Tatiana, a little Russian girl with AIDS who Julianna Margulies tried to adopt." She also mentioned her admiration for George Clooney, who starred in the same season of the show.

During her time in high school, Vayntrub portrayed a "burping sweetheart" in the series "Lizzie McGuire" alongside Hilary Duff. She gained expertise in the role of burping, even though she had never burped before. After completing her high school equivalency exam, Vayntrub earned a degree in communications from the University of California, San Diego. She further honed her acting skills by working with the improvisational comedy group "Upright Citizens Brigade".

Online Success and Acting Career
Combining forces with Stevie Nelson, Vayntrub opened their comedy channel "Live Prude Girls" on YouTube, where they uploaded their short films and the successful web series "Let's Talk About Something More Interesting". The "Live Prude Girls" project ranked 93rd on the list of "100 Best Channels" by the online magazine "NewMediaRockstars". Vayntrub also played small roles in films and TV shows, including the comedy "Life Happens" (2011) with Krysten Ritter. She portrayed young Kristen in the soap opera "Days of Our Lives".

In 2011, Vayntrub starred in the music video for the indie-pop/dream-pop band Letting Up Despite Great Faults' song "Teenage Tide". She played the character Tara in two episodes of the sitcom "Silicon Valley", which depicted a group of geeks living in a millionaire's house to launch their own startups.

Since November 2013, Milana Vayntrub has been playing the role of Lily Adams, a saleswoman, in a series of commercials for AT&T. In January 2016, after visiting Greece and meeting refugee families fleeing the civil war in Syria, Vayntrub founded the website and social media movement #CantDoNothing. The movement aimed to raise awareness about the European migration crisis.
