Miles Bryars: British Paramedic Loses 183 Pounds for His Patients

Miles Bryars, a 24-year-old paramedic from Nottingham, embarked on a remarkable weight loss journey after struggling with obesity for many years.

Obesity and Work Challenges

Bryars weighed over 350 pounds at his heaviest, causing him severe discomfort and difficulty responding to emergencies. He felt self-conscious and inadequate as a healthcare professional, knowing that his appearance and physical limitations were not setting a good example for his patients.

Unhealthy Habits and Isolation

Bryars' weight issues began in adolescence. His daily diet consisted of unhealthy foods like pizza, burgers, kebabs, and energy drinks, with frequent snacking on chocolate bars. He avoided watching weight loss television programs due to embarrassment and shame.

Determined Transformation

Determined to improve his health and serve his patients better, Bryars joined a weight loss program. He eliminated junk food and focused on low-calorie meals. He also worked out regularly, which helped boost his confidence and body image.

The Do The Unthinkable Program

Bryars enrolled in the Do The Unthinkable program, a comprehensive nutrition and fitness plan. The program cost him £79 per week and provided him with tailored meal plans and workouts, along with access to support.

Incredible Results

Over nine months, Bryars lost an additional 106 pounds, bringing his total weight loss to 183 pounds. His waistline reduced from 46 inches to 32 inches.

A Newfound Perspective

Bryars' transformation not only improved his physical health but also his outlook on life. He now participates in amateur boxing matches to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

A Role Model for Health

Bryars' story has inspired countless others. He believes that his experience can motivate and empower anyone who is struggling with their weight and self-image. Through his journey, he hopes to show that change is possible and that everyone deserves to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
