Arnett pursued her undergraduate and graduate degrees in English literature at Wright State University. During this time, her love for writing deepened while simultaneously engaging in boxing. However, after two broken noses in sparring sessions, she shifted her focus entirely to literature. Authors such as J.K. Rowling, C.S. Lewis, Stephen King, and Joss Whedon's cinematic works significantly influenced her writing style.
Debut and Persistence
In 2013, Arnett's debut novel, "The Nightmare Affair," graced the literary scene as the first installment in the "Arkwell Academy" series. Despite facing four rejections from publishers, her determination never wavered. She advises aspiring writers to persist despite setbacks and to write prolifically.
