Myroslav Borysenko, a Ukrainian historian, specializes in the cultural and social history of Ukraine in the 20th century.

Early Life and Education

Born in 1974, Borysenko graduated from the history faculty of Kyiv National University in 1996. He continued his studies at the university's graduate program.

Research and Dissertation

In 1999, Borysenko defended his candidate's dissertation on "Literary Organizations in the Socio-Political Life of Ukraine, 1920-1932." In 2009, he defended his doctoral dissertation on "Housing and Lifestyle of the Urban Population in the Transformation of Ukraine's Urban Environment in the 1920-1930s."

Academic Career

Since 2009, Borysenko has taught at Kyiv University's history faculty. Initially appointed as an associate professor, he was later promoted to the rank of professor at the department of Ethnology and Regional Studies.
