Biography of Misaki Doi
Misaki Doi is a Japanese tennis player who stands at a height of 159 cm. She began her professional career in 2006 and predominantly uses her left hand as her playing hand. Her two-handed backhand stroke is one of her strengths on the court. Doi is coached by Natsuki Harada.
Career Achievements
Throughout her career, Misaki Doi has been successful in various tournaments. She has emerged as the champion in five ITF tournaments. Additionally, she reached the finals in two junior Grand Slam tournaments in doubles, namely Wimbledon in 2007 and the Australian Open in 2008. She also reached the semifinals in two junior Grand Slam tournaments in doubles, namely the US Open in 2007 and Wimbledon in 2008.
Personal Life
Misaki Doi was born to parents Koji and Yuka in Yokohama, Japan. She also has a brother named Ryo. Doi is known to favor playing on hard courts, considering it her favorite playing surface.
